Electric Jiggy

Janet is a multi-talented entertainer whose mission is to bring joy to the masses with her music. Her bubbly spirit and positivity are contagious and she lights up every stage she graces. Originally from Barbados, this New York-born beauty has loved to sing since she was a little girl. Singing karaoke sparked a true passion that led her to pursue a career in music. 

The name "ELECTRIC JIGGY" comes from Janet's favorite song Electric Boogie.  It has always brought her excitement, singing & dancing to it from the first time she heard it as a kid in the 80's.  Janet delivers that excitement every time she hits the stage.  It's a song that has contributed to one of her major influences as a singer. The term Jiggy in the Urban dictionary is defined as, when a person is dressed very well or looks good.  Put them together and there you have, ELECTRIC JIGGY JANET!

For over 10 years Janet has taken singing lessons to hone her craft and vocal tone, and she’s also explored dance and percussion. Joining a touring band “The Working Class Hussys” in the mid 2000’s enhanced her stage experience as well. Being multi-passionate, Janet is also a stylist and consultant for Naturally Curly Hair, as well as a flight attendant for American Airlines fueling her love of travel. 

Janet's music style is predominantly pop mixed with dance and rock, and she loves party beats that excite the crowds she entertains. She also performs Livestreaming every week and is building a nice following on Twitter’s Periscope app, Instagram's app & Likee's app, among others. She’s currently expanding her repertoire and looking forward to performing more extensively in the coming year.
